This page can only be used to sell and buy contemporary artworks.
Everyone can register whose contracting abilities are not restricted.
Neogallery.hu is only a medium. We do not own the artworks.
The auction begins after a short preview period. The length of the period is given by the artist.
After this, everyone can bid on an artwork, who is registered as Dilettante on the site. The bid can e given in HUF, EUR, or USD.
The hammer falls every day at midnight. Therefore, if there is no better bid for three days, the artwork is sold, and both parties will be noticed via E-Mail.
If not, or you have deleted the mail my mistake, you should contact the administrator at admin@neogallery.hu.
If you made a bid by mistake, you can have it corrected ONCE, to make the system fault tolerant. This needs human action, so you should contact admin@neogallery.hu.
In order to the hungarian civil codes 211. paragraph, the one who offers an artwork, MUST SELL the artwork, and the one who made a bid, MUST BUY it.
After the hammer fall, the OFFER and the BID are qualified as a contract, and both parties must accept it.
The contracts details (whether the painting is shipped with or without a frame, the time of the shipping, the way of paying, etc) is the business of the parties. Neogallery does not obligate anything. The artists have to pay 10 percent to Neogallery for the successful trade. The bill will be posted to the REGISTERED ADDRESS.
There are three ways to cease the 10% trade fee:
1., An Artist can write biographies in five languages. For each filled biography, the fee is reduced by 1%, but it can only come up to 4%.
2., A lot of Artists have their own homepages. If the artists place a link to their site pointing to neogallery.hu, it is 1% reduction.
3., The Artists can invite other artists to join neogallery.hu. After each successful invitation, 1% fee reduction is granted, but it can only come up to 5%.
These rights can be forced with civil suit.
Starting an auction is free.
Both artists and customers accept the fact that under database maintenance
business is suspended.
The site administrator checks every registration manually. If a registration contains obviously false data, it will be automatically removed without questions. The site administrator has the right to check the registrations regularly.
The one who breaks these rules, will be immediately and permanently deleted from the system.
